Video

Video is a megaphone for your voice, a window into your soul, and a bridge between worlds.

I like to make weird videos. Stylizing found footage to fit a narrative is my favorite way to edit, similarly to how I like to collage scraps of paper together to make art. The following choice videos were shown in galleries or formal settings.

ANTIGOLF

A short film made in the style of found footage analogue horror examining the cult-like ties of a fictional golf course. This piece was shown at Lump Gallery in Raleigh, NC at a pop-up exhibit titled "Gentlement Only Ladies Forbidden" along with other pieces exploring the connections between golf and society. Keeping the imitated style in mind, my two videos were shown on four CRTVs set on islands of astroturf.

FENDI VINTAGE

A short video piece made for F3, a collaborative exhibition for Fendi, Ferragamo, and Fenty made by UNC art direction students to highlight vintage Fendi pieces. Experience held in the Franklin Street Art Space in Chapel Hill, NC.

WXYC DJ DEBRIEF

A short video piece about the UNC Chapel Hill college radio station, WXYC 89.3. On November 1994, WXYC became the first radio station in the world to rebroadcast its signal over the Internet. Learn more about one of the station's best DJs and her experience spinning sweet jams to Tar Heels everywhere.
